MEET OUR TEAM
I started Response Mortgage Services in June 2005 following on from a period of being a Financial Adviser for one of the large national insurance companies. At Response Mortgage Services we have always had the ethos that customer service is key to our success and this is still our major strength. I am lucky to have a great team of staff around me who are all at the top of their game. I look to personally get involved with all kinds of financial enquiries, (normal residential mortgages, buy to let mortgages, Equity release mortgages, Commercial & development finance). Away from work I enjoy playing 5 a side football (not as competitive today as a few years ago though !!), also the odd round of golf is not uncommon. I am married to Lesley and have 3 young children to keep me busy.
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
I have been advising on mortgages since 2001. My experience encompasses residential purchases and remortgages, Buy to Let and Bridging Finance. I have extensive knowledge of the New Build market that appears to have its own set of rules!!!
The mortgage market has seen many changes since the credit crisis began in 2007, but I believe clients have the best opportunities in years to obtain mortgage finance.
On a personal level, I enjoy watching various sports and like to do a spot of fishing.
I joined Response Mortgage Services in 2013 after taking 5 years out of the Financial Services Industry to bring up my wonderful daughter.
Prior to this I worked as an Independent Mortgage Advisor, holding the recognised CeMAP mortgage qualification.
Having never lost the “mortgage bug”, my role as part-time Mortgage Para-planner here at Response gives me the best of both worlds, working in an environment I love, but more importantly enabling me to still do the school runs and after school activities!
I am happily married and in my leisure time I enjoy spending time with family and friends.
I started working for Response Mortgages after finishing Sixth Form in 2015. Since then I have learned a lot from working with such a great team and I am always looking to expand my knowledge further.
In my spare time I like to go to the gym and I also follow boxing.
Mortgage & Protection Adviser
I have been involved in financial services for the last 11 years. There have been a lot of changes in that time so I feel it is important to get the right advice without prejudice. I believe in helping people achieve their goals of owning their dream home, whilst safe in the knowledge all their protection needs have been looked after. I am passionate that once you are in your new home you can stay there no matter what life throws at you.
I am married to Katy, have a step daughter Lauren, a son called Samuel and 2 cats. On a personal level I enjoy spending time with my family and watching most sports. I enjoy the theatre and eating out when I get the chance.
I joined Response Mortgages in 2008 after moving up to Leeds from Hampshire, where I worked in the pensions industry. I eventually started to specialise in the financial protection side of things and have been doing that for the past 5 years or so. I enjoy the challenge of getting the best terms for clients!
I’m married and my husband and I enjoy working with the Dogs Trust as foster carers for dogs whose owners have to go into refuge, as well as having our own dog. Our spare time therefore revolves a lot around walking dogs and finding pubs who will allow us in with them!
Processor / Trainee Para-Planner
I joined Response in September 2015 after returning from a one year career break travelling around Australia and new Zealand. I knew I was looking for a career opportunity within an industry which positively impacted people’s lives and When offered the opportunity to work for Response as a mortgage processor I knew this was something which would challenge and enable me to develop professionally.
In my spare time I love spending time with my friends and family, travelling and dining at new restaurants and going to the cinema.
I have recently joined the Response team after working as an Estate Agent for 15 years in the Leeds area. Having worked alongside Response mortgage advisors many times with mutual clients I loved their approach to customer care and their integrity. I know how stressful buying a home can be and getting the right mortgage advise should be everyone’s first step.
I live with my partner and two grown up children who still manage to keep me very busy and spend my time gardening, walking Albert our Cockerpoo puppy or being a taxi service!
I have been in the financial industry for 18 years, having gained my qualifications in financial planning whilst working as a paraplanner for a pensions and investment company. Later I decided to study and obtain my exams to become a mortgage adviser and worked as an adviser for 6 years within an estate agent. As from February 2017 I now work as a Paraplanner here for Response Mortgages.
I am a keen runner and run marathons each year in different parts of the world.
I have worked within financial services since 2015 after previously working as a Personal Assistant to a university professor, and prior to this to a number of directors within the railway industry.
Since joining the financial services industry I have gained the CeMAP qualification and I am studying towards the diploma in regulated financial planning to further expand on my knowledge.
My passion is mortgages and the feeling of helping others and achieving great results for customers.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and taking our dog out for long walks.
I have worked within financial services orientated roles most of my working life. Being previously appointed as a P.A for financial advisers I instantly fell in love with the industry. It felt like natural progression to enter the estate agency arena where I worked for a leading agent striving to progress clients smoothly through a successful home move.
Embarking on a career with Response has offered me the opportunity to use my experience to thrive in this exciting sector that certainly keeps me on my toes, to offer traditional values, customer service, guidance and support for customers.
In my spare time you’ll find me crafting/sewing, enjoying live music, or eating out with friends and family.
